Boy Scout Troop #95 meets weekly from September through May at their den. Once a month they hold their honor courts in the Morrison Fellowship Hall at the First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Tim Babcock is the troop's leader. This troop has been active for over thirty years. They are involved in community projects such as collecting food for Fayette Cares' pantry, participating in Fayette Cares' Christmas baskets and picking up litter on Highway 64 between mile markers 13 and 15.
The recent Eagle projects have included building a bird sanctuary at the Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge, building bat houses for Fort Pillow State Park, and refurbishing local church playgrounds such as Warren Community Church and our own First Presbyterian Church.
The Boy Scouts instill leadership qualities in young men and prepare them for successful adulthood. Troop #95 has approximatly 20 active members from ages 11 to 18.
